New Year... Same Old Story

Ok, so I started this blog a few months ago with the intent to blog about fashion. However, I haven't been the best at doing so. I've decided that I would shift my focus and blog about goals that I plan to accomplish this year.

1. Finish school and get my degree: Ok, so they say third time is a charm. I'm hoping this is true. I will be enrolling in school for the THIRD time to finish my Bachelors in Business Administration. I am hoping that I have enough credits to be finished by the end of this year. Keep your fingers crossed for me, but I am super determined.

2. Get a real job: I would like to have a real career. In what, I don't exactly know! That could be a real problem if I'm trying to find something that will provide me the happiness and stability that I'm seeking in a career. I know that I want to go into Human Resource, possibly staffing. This year, as I work towards finishing my degree, I hope to gain a more clear focus of just what it is that I want to do.

3. Become more organized: I have turned into a true sloth this past year! I want to use this year to get more organized physically, mentally, and financially. I believe if I first organize myself in the physical aspect, then other things will fall into place.

4. GET MARRIED!: I have been engaged to my fiance for over 3 years! I would like to eventually get married before this year is out, or at least be one step closer to setting a date. I fell like right now, we are officially in limbo, and that's not something that I wish to be stuck in. I want to get married, and start a family... in that order!!!

I have some pretty big goals for this year, but I know that with God, all things are possible! I'll be updating this blog with my progress on these goals. Hopefully someone out there is reading and will be inspired or offer some inspiration to me!

Please Help!!!

I am really trying to relocate out of Cleveland this year, just because I'm starting to feel like it sucks! I would like to still stay in Ohio (preferably Cincy or Cols.), but I am so clueless as to where I should start! Could someone please offer any advice, tips, etc. that would help me to be successful in my relocation?

So, I woke up this morning to a chilly 46 degrees outside. This is the complete opposite of the weather yesterday morning, which was a nice, breezy 71 degrees. What happened to the days of sun and fun? Oh well, I guess that's what happens when you live in Cleveland, which is even more of a reason for me to want to relocate.

So I thought about my goals as far a fashion goes. I like to think of myself of fashion savvy, but I need the clothes to prove it! However, I'm such a penny pincher so I refuse to spend a bunch of money on a frivolous wardrobe. To top that off, I have just started a career in the 'Corporate World' so my wardrobe has to take on a totally professional vibe. So the goal I'm starting to work on is how to look professional without looking drab.

Any tips or pointers would help me tremendously. Pics will be coming soon to show my progress.

Graduation Tomorrow!!!

So, my fiance is walking the stage tomorrow as a candidate for his Masters in Management. I have to say that I'm a little more nervous than he is! I already have my ensemble put together and I'm ready to get this show on the road. Aarrgh!!! I'm so excited. I wish I could get him to be a little more enthused!

Anyway, I'm taking the camera, so I'll place some pics up hopefully this weekend! ;)
